More and more studies are coming out about the positive effects of listening to birdsongs, and how these sweet melodies can improve our moods. Even the moods of our four legged friends.

Playing soundscapes that include these tiny singers can alleviate feelings of anxiety and paranoia. A study found that listening to short — just six-minute — audio clips of birdsongs could reduce feelings of anxiety, depression and paranoia in healthy participants.

I have created a few Bird Song playlists that I use during the day as for a pleasant ambient background to my day. My cat Meow Meow seems to enjoy these naturescapes as well.
