This is a sliding scale event.

Prepare for your session

For better sound and sensation, wear headphones or connect your phone or computer to your sound system. But please don't have the volume to loud. Take care of your precious hearing.

To prepare for your Virtual Sound Meditation please set up a comfortable space where you can relax and be comfortable. Use blankets, pillows to create a soft and supported place to lay down. Putting something under your knees is helpful to relax your lower back. Have something to cover your eyes if you want to block out the light.

If you have animals try to place them in another room so that they do not disturb you. When you are in a deep state of relaxation they have a tendency to poke you to make sure you are okay. If being separate from you causes them distress try to get them to settle in next to you.

If you have children that are at the fidgety age, give them some paper and something to draw with and tell them that this is a time of no talking, it is a time for being quite and being with oneself.

“The Harvard Medical School said in its latest health guideline that, yoga, meditation and controlled breathing are recommended to address anxiety issues related to the novel coronavirus that has now spread fast across America."⁣

S O L S T I C E @ Seattle Town Hall with Timothy White Eagle

I’m so excited and honored to have been invited to participate in Timothy White Eagle’s Solstice event.

I will be creating a ambient soundscape in the mail lobby with a selection of 18 Crystal Singing bowls, 2 gongs ,and an assortment of chimes.

On the longest day of the year, performance and visual artist Timothy White Eagle invites us to the culmination of his time as Artist-in-Residence at Town Hall. In this six-hour durational performance open house, we invite community together to honor the ancestors. To honor lives we may not have known and honor the journey into the undiscovered country beyond the view of the living.

Using transformational space, sound, ritual, and community, we draw on spiritual traditions from around the world. We, the living, are called upon to offer meditation and witnessing for the journey of the dead.  And in that work, on behalf of those who no longer breathe, we seek release. We seek release from fear of no longer breathing, from the fear of death.

Click here to find out more about White Eagle’s presentation exploring his work and the first half of his residency.

Ticketing will be based on timed entry. Our COVID safety procedures require that patrons wear masks at all times.

Sunday April 4th * Online Sound Meditations

Hello Sound Voyager,

Join me online on Crowdcast to cap off your weekend with a 45 minute peaceful and harmonic sound meditation. This is an opportunity to commune with yourself and regenerate for the week ahead.

5pm West Coast

8pm East Coast

All sessions are sliding scale with each alternate Sunday having the option to attend free if you are unable to contribute financially. There is a back log of session available on Crowdcast free of charge to use when you wish.

Access

Click this HERE to access the April 4th Crowdcast Session, once they are aired Live they are available for replay.

Follow my Crowdcast Channel HERE.

Pay for this session on the Crowdcast platform.
